• It's hard to believe that the time has sped so swiftly during these last months.

• As the new year begins, many people make resolutions, a determination to accomplish different goals or to finish a goal already begun.

• The Leadership Team of the Soaring Eagles is resolving to provide an opportunity for various activities and service during this New Year. We pray that you will consider resolving with us to participate as often as you can in these gathering opportunities and service. We have been very blessed with good Senior support.

• Make our "gatherings" an important part of your calendar.

• January 7 -- Senior Game Day
  • 4:00 p.m. -- Dinner ordered in!

• January 21 -- Estrella Terrific Thursday
  • Leaving at 9:30 a.m.
  • Place: South Peoria Baptist Church
  • Program: Senior Health Care

• January 22 -- Movie Night
  • 6:00 p.m.
  • Place: SMBC auditorium / movie theater
  • Movie: "The Quiet Man" starring John Wayne
  • Snacks and drinks will be available (free) at the theater snack bar

• January 26 -- Computer Information Workshop
  • 9:30 a.m. -- Workshop
  • 10:30 a.m. -- Bible Study
  • Noon -- Light Luncheon

• Mission opportunities of service will be announced later in the month, and we will also be beginning an in-reach service during the month of January.

We pray that God will give us a good "resolve" to serve the Master in whatever way we can!
