- By now all the presents are open, all the food is eaten, and all the parties are over.
- Hopefully you found time among all this hectic rush to remember the reason we are celebrating and to find a few minutes to talk with the children about the wonderful events of the first Christmas.
- I will share with you that I was shocked when my son told me that his new fifteen year old stepson had no idea what Christmas was about. Please pray for him and all the children around us everyday that do not know what a wonderful holiday this really was. The harvest is plentiful if we just look around.

Our children were so busy in December....
- If you missed their musical presentation on December 6, you missed a real joy...They outdid themselves!
- Special thanks to all the adults that helped make this a great success.
- Children's Choir will begin again in January, meeting on Sundays at 4:30 p.m. Contact Miss Koko for details.
- A.W.A.N.A. is taking a two week break so the clubbers can spend time with their families and friends.
- Meetings will begin again on January 6 (January 10 for Journey).
- The canned food drive is over, and the clubbers beat the leaders again.
- A great time was had by all, and nothing can replace the feeling that you have when you help someone who is less fortunate.
- Now we are gearing up for the A.W.A.N.A. games and Bible quizzing in the spring.
- (I've also heard a rumor that there is an A.W.A.N.A. Grand Prix on the horizon.

Since our focus will be on our evening service in January, I have put together a new volunteer worker list to include an evening Infant Care and Mission Friends for the pre-kindergarten.
- Because our insurance requires us to have at least two teachers in each class for the safety of the children and the teachers, I have added a helper during Bible Study for Lorraine's class.
- Please consider and pray about these needed slots. Keep in mind that it is only one hour a month.
- And men, we would love to have you also!...The children are overjoyed when Marcus walks into the room on the third Sunday.
