Sunrise Mountain

• Our Game Day was held January 7, yielding much fun and fellowship.
  • Ten seniors gathered for dominoes, hearts, and food. We are getting spoiled with Don's wonderful fudge. Then he had to entice us more with his great potato salad. Green salad, German chocolate cake, and Domino's Pizza rounded out the evening.

• Fifteen gathered on Tuesday, January 26, to learn some computer skills, and participate in the Seniors' Bible Study.

• Eighteen gathered on Friday, January 29, and enjoyed a great time of fellowship, hot dogs, popcorn, and the movie (in our very own "Soaring Eagles Theater") The Quiet Man, starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara (can't miss with those two).

The Leadership Team is in the process of developing the outreach and inreach teams.

• Billie Wright is chairman of the inreach team and has enlisted Jean DePew, Lorriane Hook, Laura Hornback and Muriel Wythe in raching out to members and others. This committee met and fgormulated goals for our ministry. The committee has stated that this is not just the Committee's responsibilities, but will ask for help from all the Seniors to help accomplish the goals of inreach.

• Roy Arrowood is currently working on our outreach ministry and will be providing us with more information on how we can reach out to others in our community and church.

  • 7:00 p.m.
  • Ken was an original member of the Blackwood Brothers.
  • All seats are free, while a love offering will be received.
  • Invite your friends and family.

• Thursday, Feb 18 -- Estrella Seniors' Terrific Thursday
  • Leaving at 9:00 a.m. for First Southern Baptist Church, Buckeye
  • Concert by the Riley's Gospel Music group.
  • $5.00 covers lunch also.
  • We should be back before 2:00 p.m.

• Tuesday, Feb 23 -- Seniors Bible Study and Lunch
  • 10:30 a.m. Bible Study
  • 11:45 a.m. Lunch
