• Everyone really enjoyed the January breakfast and Joni Erickson Tada's DVD on "Living Beyond Our Circumstances" (learning how God can use our pain or suffering to encourage others).

• We have received a LOT of positive feedback regarding the quilting sessions, so , by popular demand, we will have more sessions this year.
  • In order to provide the nursing home with a good amount of lap-quilts for the residents who need them (at least 65), we will wait until later in the year to deliver them.

  • We will have about 20 completed by the end of this month so we will definitely have the amount we need the end of the year.

Looking Around...

• We are in the process of distributing a questionnaire to all the women of the church. We want to find out what activities or monthly events they would prefer and how we (Pam and I) can better serve them, as we would like to get more women involved in the Women's Ministry.

Looking Ahead...

• FEBRUARY FELLOWSIP
  • On February 13, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. we will be enjoying time at the "Sweet Life cafe" )where women savor time with God).
    • There will be "food for the heart" based on 1 Kings 16 and 17

    • And "sweet talk" (where women taste the sweetness of friendship).
      • During the "sweet talk" session we will have the infamous CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN! So please bring your favorite "dipping" food -- if you have any questions, just ask one of us.

• SPRING RETREAT
  • March 26, 27 and 28 -- The retreat will soon be here!...Or rather, WE will soon be THERE!
    • According to our last count, at least 20 women will be going to Prescott!

    • If you haven't signed up yet and would like to go, please contact one of us.

• APRIL BIBLE STUDY
  • "Walking By Faith" (Not By Sight), by Jennifer Rothschild, will be our study theme as we start a weekly Bible Study lasting 7 weeks.

  • The dates and times will be determined following the results of our questionnaire; we want the study to be the most convenient so we can have better attendance.
