We're Here For You and Ready To Pray
- Jeremiah 33:3 ... Call to Me and I will answer you; and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
The Importance of Prayer
- We believe that Sunrise Mountain Baptist Church is God’s church, not ours.
- In other words, God has allowed us the wonderful privilege of being a part of His church, and it is such a blessing, but it doesn’t belong to us.
- Recognizing that He is the Head and the true Leader, not any human, we recognize that it is imperative that we stay "connected" to Him, in constant communication with Him...through prayer.
- Consequently, prayer is the foundation upon which all our ministries can flourish.
- Although we personally pray more than just one time a week, group prayer gatherings are hosted throughout the week, and on Tuesday evenings all the adults gather together for the specific purpose of praying together, which includes praying for the specific requests listed on the weekly prayer list as well as additional items and persons' needs.
- An on-going list of prayer requests is compiled each week and made available at Wednesday prayer meetings, by e-mail, as well as at other times and in additional ways, so all can join in praying for specific needs and persons requesting prayer.
- To add a request to the list, you can e-mail our prayer warriors at prayer@smbcaz.org, or you can call the church office, add your request to the list passed around on Wednesday evenings, or (if it is a non-private request) you can enter it below in the "comments" section at the bottom of this page.
- Sending your prayer request by way of the comment section below will result in it being viewable by all who log on to the website, enabling many folks to join in prayer for this need.
- However, if you desire your prayer request to be kept confidential, send an e-mail to prayer@smbcaz.org and our prayer warriors will be delighted to pray with you and for the need you mention, while keeping the matter confidential, known only to our prayer warriors, you, and God.
- We'll consider it an honor to do so.
