............................
With this Sunday being Mothers' Day (really should be "Moms' Day"), Pastor Mike's message is entitled, "MY FAIR LADY," and will focus on the SEVEN CHARACTERISTICS OF A GODLY WOMAN.

So...This week's chat question focuses on the MOMS in our lives.

    • Understand, a MOM isn't necessarily your mother.
    • MOMS are ladies who have "mothered" us, taught us, mentored us, comforted us, directed us, etc.

      • She might have been a school teacher or an aunt, a foster parent or a nice little old lady upstairs.

      • Of course, she really COULD have been your mother or grandmother too!

Please do us a favor and tell us TWO THINGS:

  • 1) WHO she is, as in what was your relationship with her?

    • Relative?
    • Friend?
    • Landlord?
    • Coach?
    • Teacher?
    • Bus driver?
    • Youth worker?
    • Baby sitter?

  • 2) What was it about her that makes her so special to you?

    • Was it something she did?
    • Something she said?
    • Something she didn't do that others did?
    • Something she gave you?

Thanks. We look forward to reading your "chat" comments.

I have a stories past especially when talking about relatives. With a mom that married four times and a dad who did the same, the entire family tree process is a maze of twist and turns. My father married his fourth wife Jackie who has a wonderful mother named Martha. Even though my dad later divorced my step mom, I've always remained close to my now ex-step grandmother. The reason is, she introduced me to the church and teachings of Jesus Christ. She was the instrument God used to bring me to the kingdom and the way she did it was not through force of manipulation but through love. An Angel on Earth...
